Hello! I am a research associate and PhD candidate in economics at DIW Berlin and Free University Berlin. My main research fields are political economy and public economics, with a focus on threats to democracy.

At DIW Berlin, I Iead a project on populism and social mobility. As part of this work, I was a Visiting Fellow at Harvard’s Opportunity Insights Lab in 2024, invited by Raj Chetty. In 2025, I will be a visiting researcher at the World Inequality Lab at the Paris School of Economics, invited by Lucas Chancel and Thomas Piketty.

I have also contributed to policy work at DIW Berlin, the OECD, and the United Nations Secretariat. Feel free to reach out and discuss research or policy questions!
